Over the last few weeks I have been working on pieces that focus more on reptiles and fantasy elements. These are only the beginning of something new.

I decided in the last month to reopen my Etsy store, though renamed and with different artwork, to start selling off some of my old work as well as new. I finally have a local place that does printing for artists, so that will be my next step. Right now I am focusing on selling most of my older stuff before starting the printing process. They are listed at lower prices than usual so that I can move out the old and start with newer,better material. I hate having art sitting around, and god knows it has been.
As per my specialization in birds, I also intend to add more reptiles to my body of work, as well as some fantasy elements. I’m trying to find my niche, and reptiles seem to be under represented in art, unlike birds which are virtually everywhere.
Here is one example I’ve done using my bearded dragon, Gimli as a model. The swirls of color in the background are a bit experimental in the same vein as “The Sleeper” piece that I finished a while back.

Each of the pieces listed is one of a kind, and I do not intend to make prints of any of them. They are unique on their own.
