Even though I make reptile themed art prints myself, I enjoy seeing other artists’ work. Through the years I’ve found a lot of talent out there. Really beautiful work I wouldn’t mind buying myself. There are a lot of successful and up and coming artists on Etsy. Here’s a few I’ve found that I’d like to share.

This artist has only been on Etsy for 4 years, but has an amazingly colorful body of work. Reptiles, amphibians, and paleoart are the specialty here. He makes all the reptiles look very dragon-like, which is pretty cool. Definitely worthy of praise and go give him a few orders!

I’ve followed this artist for a few years both on Etsy and Facebook. She works in colored pencil illustrating a myriad of reptiles, amphibians, and tarantulas. Not only does she capture the beauty of her subjects, but she adds intricate, vivid backgrounds that draw you into the artwork. She has an exhaustive list of work with matching merchandise including prints, keychains, ornaments, stickers, badges, painted skulls, and more.

This artist’s shop sports stickers and prints of very bright and saturated color schemes that is uniquely their own. Featuring multiple animal groups, reptiles and fish are the two primary examples. Some designs are more muted colors, but much of it has that brilliant style. A great start for an artist only on Etsy for 3 months. Definitely recommend you check them out.

This artist creates gorgeous hand painted acrylic depictions of reptiles and flora, and so far has only a few available. I hope to watch this shop grow. This work is really beautiful, and I may just grab one of the Western Hognose prints.

A successful artist shop, this one offers paintings, digital downloads, prints, stickers, and more. The style is delicate yet vibrant in color, featuring the most common pet reptiles out there. It blends the presence of the reptiles with that of flowers and fruit, while other designs use decorative leaves. Very beautiful work.
Do you know another reptile artist you’d like to see featured here? Let me know in the comments. That’s it for this week’s curated content. Hope to have some more detailed posts up in the next week or so.
